The medieval town of Vogogna Unknown to the most of the tourists, Vogogna is a little gem, you will

and well preserved castle and buildings, places full of history. Here

A view on the ValGrande National Park. It is a good possibility to have a beautiful view on the ValGrande.
Starting from the sweet place of Alpe Ompio you can reach the top of
the Monte Faiè where you can enjoy infinite horizons. Discovering the hight lands of Alpe Devero and beyond. Alpe Devero, Val Buscagna, Lago Nero show you the beautiful richness
of the high altitudes. It is a walk through the larches and rhododendrons,
starting from the Alpe Devero pastures at 1500 meters above sea level,
going up to the limit of the forest and to the higher pastures. Val
Buscagna is an hanging valley sweet and magic where a stream flows before
throwing down with falls to Alpe Devero. It is possible to reach the
Lago Nero where newts live (a kind of salamander). From the Sacro Monte Calvario along the Via dei Torchi e dei Mulini. It is a circular route through the villages above Villadossola and
Domodossola, to discover the rural life in the mountains on the altitude
of chestnut woods. The work of people who lived there has left it marks
imprinted in the walls, in the terraces, in the houses, in the presses
and mills (“torchi e mulini”) you can see along the route.
The Sacro Monte Calvario di Domodossola is a religious place sourranded
of a huge and peaceful garden. The Borromean Islands on Lake Maggiore. Tourist destination of international importance so close to Vogogna,
you could not miss it! There are visitors coming from all over the world
to visit Isola Madre and Isola Bella, with their palaces full of charm
and splendor, surrounded by their gardens full of colors in all the
seasons. The fishing village of Isola dei Pescatori is a valuable record
of lake life.
